Lev (Shot Callers #1) by Belle Aurora

From the moment Lev Leokov spots the young woman hiding behind her hair in the middle of the gentleman's club, he can't take his eyes off of her.

For the very first time in his life, he is affected. Having been told his entire life that he can't process or understand emotion, he considers it a big deal.

When Mina Harris gets caught red-handed with a wallet that isn't hers, she falls apart. She's tired, lonely and hasn't eaten in days.

Lev offers her an ultimatum... A nice warm bed, a hot meal and a job, or the cops.

Mina takes her chances with Lev.
After all, a person with nothing has nothing left to lose.

I received an ARC for Lev by Belle Aurora is exchange for an honest review.
Belle Aurora is a stunning author and her books just keep getting better.
This book enters the world of the extended Leokov family that are introduced in Friend-Zoned series which is a personal favourite of mine. We are introduced to a who new set of characters who I can already tell are going to have interesting and heartbreaking stories.  Lev is such a beautiful character. He is so complex and the chapters based on his POV will give you an entire new outlook on life. He is in his own way a very Alpha male but you are shown such a sweet, vulnerable side to this man and you can't help but fall instantly in love with him. His beautiful heroine is the homeless and down on her lunch Mina. A little fire cracker just waiting to erupt. These two have an emotional journey and their individual pasts are explained so perfect that you can understand every reason behind every thought that they have.

I was unable to put this book down from the second I was lucky enough to receive it and as usual Aurora's book will stay with me for a long time to come. The realism of her characters is absolutely stunning and there was nothing i would change about this book as i can only describe it as perfection. There is drama, romance and a beautiful little girl that will melt even the coldest of hearts. Through in a little jealousy and  truck load of secrets and you find yourself with a book worth it's weight in gold.
